This is the contents page for one of the NME magazines. Some feature I like about this contents page are how the topics for sections in the magazine are made clear (on the right hand side of the magazine) by putting black box's and the text for each topic eg:NEWS, RADAR had been wrote on it in bold letters in white which contrast and makes them stand out from the rest of the small text on the page. Also the mastehead for the contents page is in large bold text which makes it clear and this also can catch the readers eye. A secondary index (on the left side of the page) had also been out there. This could make it even easier for readers to fin a page hey are looking for.
The picture in the middle of the page is a good idea in my opinion as it creates a focus point for readers and also gives them an idea to what the main article in the magazine will be about.
I like how there is also a running theme for the age and the colours red, black and white are used mostly on the page. As I said this creates a running theme and also relates back to the NME logo.
This contents page had a sort of disorganised feel to it which I think would attract the teenage and maybe younger adults.
